I followed this when Adams posted the installments at Austen Variations during November and December of 2019.Jane, Elizabeth, and Mary Bennet are the only sisters in the Bennet family and there is a very modern twist to their relationship. Jane is dating Darcy and Elizabeth is dating Charles. Wait… what? One double date together and the girls and guys know they are with the wrong date. So, what is a modern man or woman supposed to do in a situation like that? Swap partners, of course. But not before Elizabeth and Charles exchanged the best banter I’ve read in a while. That was hilarious. Elizabeth Bennet was amazing. Jane Bennet was no slouch either as a strong independent woman who knew what she wanted. We didn’t interact with Mary until later in the story but she was equal to both of her sisters. I loved this story. When Richard Fitzwilliam arrived, you knew mischief was about to happen… and it did. Only, the guys totally underestimated the prowess of the Bennet sisters. Delightful. I highly recommend this short 7-chapter, clean story.
